Susie!
The Girls play place is listed under Main Forums and is the 4th one in the row I believe now. We'll never be getting rid of the ladies, the world would be lame with just boys!

aha!
Since I moved back home from Aberystwyth (home being the west mids) local riding has been somewhat wank, Cannock Chase being the nearest trails which are fairly good for a small hill but an hours drive as a pose to 10 minutes ride like at uni. After that its driving for an hour plus to Bringewood, Hopton etc or very muddy XC in local woods.
As for going to France, did a week in Morzine then out to Alp D'Huez for the Mega... and broke my forks at the end of the qualifier, which was rather gutting but at least it was at the end of a fortnight of fooking awesome riding.
If you're worried about not riding, you need to get out of the South then
My long term goal is to move to Leeds as I have mates there and its next to the moors, and Scotland is driveable for the weekend. Though at least this Bradford upon Avon is near the M4 and so the whole of south wales is accessible?

Nah, bothered!
Its so true about a heavy bike, my Glory makes me sad at 46lbs, so the main reason for wanting a lighter bike is for the pushing up rather than the riding (slightly twisted logic but hey...)
Thing you may find with Fox's is that they are bloody brilliant forks, but need a fair bit of tlc, my 40s were ace but the seals kept going and they blew up in France so temper tantrum and ebay!
Something like coil lyrics or Magura equivalent may be good?, or Flooks could work some magic and replace the internals of the boxxers effectively making them a new fork?

Thats a fair one, 888s are fricking heavy. I'm trying to find a mate a bike and though there are plenty of small DH bikes about, wether 5' bugger all of her will be able to actually move said bike is another matter....

I noticed from things you posted that you're after set of forks... a mate 'luke bighit' is selling a pair of 888VF if you have ££ and are interested.
PS You were at the Moelfre uplift weekend in May weren't you?

Yeah will defo let you know when the next one is and as said you get loads of riding on really good trails with amazing scenery.
Where abouts in London are you living at the mo as i work in Camden ???
Yeah i rode the new place at Tavi when it first got finished as i know all the guys who run/ride at the Chip Shop (Tavi) tracks so i got invited down there....its pretty mint, but the push is a complete ba$tard so an uplift would be good.
Yeah summer has been pretty mad with racing, then Canada which was amazing and ive now got post Whistler depression and just want to go back, but all is not too bad as im heading out to Alpe d' huez and Les 2 Alpes on Monday evening for a week or so of alpine dh just hope the weather holds out.
We do quite alot of uplifts at Moelfre and other welsh tracks so when i know of any and if we have spaces available i will let you know

Hello,
yep im that Hatch in T-A's photo's.
Im actually from North Devon, but live next to Chicksands now (at the mo, but have my house up for sale at the mo)......I ride at Triscombe, Coombe Sydnam, Exmoor, Tavi, on a semi regular basis as my family still live that way and the team I race for (Southfork Racing) are based in Braunton, North Devon and ive ridden all over the SW as well
I havent ridden at PORC for sometime now (must be about 7-8 months) so not really sure what its like at the mo, I would personally hit Woburn, Devils Punch Bowl (Hindhead) or Rogate if your planning a day out.
Would be good to hook up for an uplift.....Southfork organise soem really good ones up on Exmoor, the last one I did with them we did 32 miles of natural dh for only £20 which was pretty cool.

Just let me know when and where, or whatever and I will be there! You'll love chicksands... It's awesome. Near hatfiled/Bedforshire. How are you anyway? Finsished uni for good? xxx

Hi Susie, had such a good day, it wasn't too dusty really and was loving it by the end. Never really went for the last jump tho
need to get over the mind issues lol. I guessed that might have been why you went, understandable - must have been rubbish for sam, hope he and his bike are ok now. Did you have a good week of riding? What are your plans now you've finished uni??? Was cool to meet you! x
